Show us your cargo baskets!!

I'm wanting to get a cargo basket on my bed cap and was curious what everyone else has.
I poked around and used the search feature and didn't really find what I was after.
So, show me your cargo baskets!! Yaaaaay!

 

Cant really picture what your talking about. Do you mean a roof cargo rack but on top of your bed?

 

Sorry, I'll try to post a pic of what I mean. I've seen them on top of bed caps and SUVs. I've seen smaller ones on top of the cab itself.

If you want that on your bed you would have to get a bed cover to put it on or a bed rack or crossbars because those typically aren't wide enough to rest on your bed sides.

 

I've got a bed cap that I'm wanting to attach one to. It has the mounting "t" rails but they run linearly and not cross ways.

 

I'm sure you can find mounts to use for those.

 

I can probably fabricate them.
I was hoping to see what other members set ups looked like.

I think his bed cap also means camper shell. Or truck cap. And is looking for a cargo basket to put on top of. But I’ve been wrong before. But me don’t think so this time.

 

You are exactly right buddy! I have a camper shell/truck cap/bed cap made by Lear. And yes, cargo baskets that would go on top of that. I know I've seen them somewhere. I was thinking that more people would have them here and knew what I was talking about.

Not a problem. I would like to get a cap/ shell for my truck. But, the wife said no. And said It’ll make the truck look like an old man’s truck. I told her, but I am an old man. She still said no. I have seen a cargo basket on caps/ shells. But I never talked to the people about it. So, i don’t know what brand or where they got it.

 

That's a bummer she won't let you get one. I know how that can be.
Yeah, Harbor Freight has one but the way it mounts is opposite to how my t rails run. I'd also like to get some of those flat fuel containers. They look pretty cool.

 

Under the tonneau covers, caps and shells forum. On the Let’s see your caps thread some of the trucks have cargo basket on the caps/ shells. I think they’re about 60 pages. You could send them a private message for information.

I actually didn't even open that link for the rhino rack accessories earlier. But just now did, and saw that they had a massive clearance sale on baskets. So anybody who is interested, you're gonna be hard pressed to find a quality basket at a sub $200 price point.
