You guys have some serious talent.

As far as drawing, I am only able to copy pictures. When I try and draw something from memory or real life, it looks like a child drew it. But I can copy, so really not art I suppose.

My B-I-L is the artist on these pieces. The sail boats were given to Junior Sailors for competing in a Sabot Race.
The stage coach and curly buffalo were consignment pieces that went to a local art gallery for sale.

Thanks. I actually tried to sell them on Etsy. Not one sold  so now I just make them for gifts. They take a good amount of time to make. I don't paint them, I sand the metal shiny and use a torch to bring out color in the metal. Then clear coat them.

i finished my second Damascus knife a week ago. Using it hard in the kitchen. She stays sharp. Stained from onions and tomatoes a bit on the edge, but I expected and accept that.
    207 layers, 1095 & 15n20. I’m pretty slow, maybe cause I’m old. Took me about 2 weeks.

I'm a huge fan of all mediums of art (used to own a sizable fine art foundry), but was not blessed with the ability to express the ideas in my head - so I stick with numbers and excel.

There's some good talent in here. Given the current, ah, unfavorable economy and jobs report, would the admins allow members selling their art? A Tundras.com gallery of sorts?

That is very, very nice. I've seen some Damascus, but, I don't think I've ever seen a pattern like you captured there.
