Show off that REFLECTION.

Decided to give her a nice lil wash this evening. Haven't used the foam cannon in a while.

Not really a “reflection” shot, but I washed two Tundras and a Sequoia yesterday. Red didn’t make the cut because it needs more than a basic wash and the sun was up enough by that point to cause issues. War Machine was possibly dirtier than its ever been, and I still need to put some new protection on.
I didn’t “detail” any of them, just washed them. Started at 7 am and finished around 10. War Machine took the longest due to not being washed in months and whatever sealant I last put on there being completely gone.
I will say that after about a month the Undrdog spray coating was still as good as new on the Sequoia and made it very easy to clean.

 

This week's hauls. Jeep and Explorer was a polish/coating in UD. GT500 was a maintenance wash after polishing and coating over a month ago (dumb easy). Buick was my grandma's who was visiting from South Carolina so we had to hook her up fo free. Wash, light decon, and Undrdog's 1 year spray coating. Ask @ToyoMafia about how good that stuff is.

 

Good on you for taking care of Grandma’s car. You are a straight up dude for sure.

 

On a rear quarter with some not so good body work. Not a bad reflection from 6' away for not even being polished yet

I want to say I have become a huge fan of underdog. This was definitely the easiest coating I’ve ever applied and is very forgiving. Now that it has been applied for a bit I have gotten a chance to see it perform and I am very happy with it.

 

These are my favorite shots. This is a shot of the roofline on the FJ with underdog pro applied.

 

Finally a Tundra.

 

Used a cleaner Wax from chemical guys on my truck and wife’s car. Easy to apply and remove. Pleased with the end result.

A “quick” wash….. if there is such a thing. No more desert season dirt and dust. She goes in for new shocks and some routine maintenance this week. She’s going to drive nice!!!!!!!

Been busy. A lot more cars done the past two weeks but here's the most notable.

'71 Mach 1 was a one step and Collinite 845. Prepped for a buyer who purchased it at auction.



'68 Mustang restoration project. One stepped and coated in Undrdog Pro.



Maxima AIO polished (3D Speed)...daily driver just wanting some refreshment.



Lexus SUV one stepped after a ton of PPF was removed. Had to wet sand the PPF lines and cut/polish certain portions. Finally coated in Undrdog Pro.

Not bad for an 07 Silver Sky Metallic. Fresh wax a few days ago.

 

Anyone have any tips to bring back faded paint. I just bought a truck for work that the hood and roof are faded. I don’t need it perfect but would like it to look somewhat presentable

 

pics could help here. But definitely compounding and buffing all the way up to a new coat of paint & clear coat.

 

I’ll snag a picture when I get home. I guess now I have to either get a buffer or get a quote to have someone do it. Thanks for the info

Sooo many nice rides here... Did a quick (15hrs later ) detail on the Tundy, needed it badly, still needs more but this pic came out decent I think!

 

Attitude black might be high maintenance but no other paint looks as sleek after a bath, IMO
