After using carpro clear cut then essence, this is with no coating or wax or sealant. Bare naked paint, well essense does have some sealing properties.

Thanks Jim. Today was 4 hours of coumpounding and polishing. This was roof, and the drivers side of the truck. I got it all done and 90% of the defects out. Total I have 10+ hrs in paint correction for the entire truck, that includes clay time. Not easy but was worth the effort.

I am certain that if I had a better polished and better grasp on what pads to use with what product I could have cut out a few hours. There is definitely a learning curve.

I have 2 small scratches that need to be wet sanded and a few rock chips that need touch up paint. The touch up I am comfortable with and ill use one of my daughter craft paintbrushes because they are very small so It'll work well. The wet sanding I will pass on for now, until I can practice on something else

Alright, finally spent some real time with the polisher. Spent a couple of hours and got a fender and door done. @Pudge how’d I do?

@War Machine wait til tomorrow. That essense takes a day or so to really leave its shine. I noticed a few hazed spot too where o must not have buffed it off well. Just use a towel with some essense and hand buff on and off and itll clear up

I showed that picture of the reflection of my truck to my brother today. He was confused and asked what he was looking at, and said where is your truck? Lol once I explained that it was the reflection he could not believe it and wants to pay me to do his cars..I plan to try to restore the maple sap truck paint next week. I'll be using megs 105 and 205, not the expensive carpro stuff for that. I'll do some before ad after pics. It's a 25 year old truck that probably hasnt been waxed in 10 years. Lots of dings and scratches but I will make that paint shine!!

That beadmaker is good stuff. Gets even better after a couple days, then second application. One of my favorites.

I do have syrup left. Just working on time and motivation to get to the post office to mail some out.

Looks great Jim. I can't wait to do the syrup truck and see what a difference I can make. My truck came out great but was in pretty damn too shape before, because I have done a little at a time to it over the years.
