Hell I did the tundra yesterday and then parked it on my neighbors driveway last night. It sprinkled rain and he has a big tree so I woke up to this So I did the truck again today.

 

15 hour day when it was all said and done lol. I'm trying to build something major here. My retirement plan = work more/harder lol.

I hate when that happens. It seems like I am washing the truck three times a week, only to have it sprinkle just enough to get “damn.”

 

Yeah it’s been so damn dry and the pollen is crazy so a little rain causes a big mess if you park under a tree. Which sucks cause it’s hot as hell and a little shade goes a long way. Usually I can use a waterless wash to do the small spots but today was a blow out so back to washing I went.

 

Yeah, washed mine yesterday. And it’s raining. Again.

Audi's red is drool-worthy and I typically hate red cars. Tossed some Solution Finish on the rear trim and polished the exhaust tips. It's the little bit extra that helps.

 

What did you use for the exhaust tips? My go-to has been P21S polishing soap.

 

Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish and some 0000 steel wool. Been looking for something new. Mother's works well but a lot of elbow grease. I've just always used it since my academy days.

 

Give the P21S product a try....I think you will like it

 

What do you guys use to vacuum your Tundra. I’m looking for a good shop vac or whatever y’all are suggesting.

 

How do you think it would work on a black one? Mine stays in bad shape. Been hesitant to use anything harsh on it though.

Maybe someday I can post some pics here again. If it ever stops raining again for more than half a day. I don’t remember the last time it didn’t.

 

It seems like a harsh product when you feel the applicator/cleaning pad that comes with it...but it isn't. I use it on our stainless range hood in the kitchen and it doesn't mar the surface at all. It's one thing to get exhaust tips looking good....it's quite another keeping them that way. Any vehicle I detail gets the exhaust tips cleaned up, and I've always told people that it's unlikely they will stay looking like that.

 

Ordered. We’ll see how it does. The exhaust tip is like wheels and wheel wells: they get messed up again so quickly that I don’t do them very often.

 

Less pollen now but a few driveways being replaced on the street so the shine won’t last. So I made sure I took a pic this time.
