I really wish you could bookmark or archive posts on this forum. Your ability to pull up old posts is unbelievable. I just grabbed a screen shot of this so I can try sounds great for summertime when I can be sure it will rain and most ceramic sealants demand dry cure times.

Yeah it burns me pretty bad. Autogeek has probably lost my business in total. If my issues had been with griots or shine supply they would have corrected instantly. I will now probably try and order everything from the manufacturer for all my products except the stuff I get local. Hell the guy at autozone would make it right faster then autogeek. I may pay a little more doing it this way but good customer service need to have value placed on it.

It’s definitely great in those situations. It’s especially a good option for me as I usually only dry the vehicles if I’m applying a product afterwards anyway.

It’s a great product for those who use short lived products like Beadmaker or wax. Keeps a good base sealant underneath them.

I've not had a problem with customer service when I called them directly. Using the email link that sends a message....that, to me, doesn't work very well.

I have called and emailed. I have never had this issue with them before this. When they get around to it I’m sure they will take care of it but taking a week to address customer service issues is BS.

Ok so I just got an email from autogeek and guess what! They won’t make it right! Screw them they sent me an email saying they showed CarPro the video I sent and CarPro said it wasn’t a manufacturer defect. Well that’s funny because I spoke to CarPro and they said if autogeek did not make it right they would. Again I will never buy from autogeek ever again and I will purchase all CarPro from sky’s the limit.

Got the grocery getter cleaned up since we're leaving for vacation in it Monday morning. Avalon kind coating done a few months back. Washed with carpro reset and topped with bead maker.

Cleaned up Old Red yesterday. By the way, the Iron X Snow Soap really did nothing worth mentioning. Won’t use again.
I really need to do some more intense detailing on it, and she’s got some scars, but she’s still pretty.

Do you find boats a bigger challenge to detail because of the fiberglass? All my experience with boats have to do with salt water, which is the primary reason there is not one in my driveway.

They're more of a challenge mainly because of the size and top deck is annoying (I use 4 separate spray bottles of cleaner just to clean the deck before I even foam soak the whole thing). And this one in particular was annoying because the top deck was repainted overtop of the original fiberglass decking and they did a really poor job. It looks like shit up close but I'm a part-time detailer, not a paint refinisher lol.

With boats, I rarely use a DA to wax or polish. Not enough power no matter the DA (high end vs low end). Need a rotary and a proper pad. This was just Meguiar's Flagship RV/Boat Cleaner Wad on a 7.5" Lake Country Orange cutting pad and the Dewalt rotary. Even with a softer foam pad and a less abrasive cleaner wax made quick work of the oxidization. Job was commissioned as a wash/wax and no real corrective work but the difference between waxing and cleaner waxing is so minimal that I just went for it for a better end result. This boat stays in the water all season and was only pulled for me to clean it...sitting in salt water has destroyed the water line down and bottom coating.

Also boats are deceptively easily to detail with the right products. It's just pure square footage you have to cover that makes them annoying. I have a 37' Bayliner next week with real corrective work to be done. Downside is that thing sits in the water 24/7 and will be in the water when I do it. I'll have to use floating docks and tie off to the cleats as I work my way around. Should be interesting.

Looking good! How much Cquartz 3.0 uk do you usually go through to coat a new tundra? I am thinking about doing mine when I get it in a couple weeks, and was wondering if 50 ml is enough for two coats.

Yes it is. You should have extra. Also order a bottle of reload and eraser. Go ahead and coat the headlights and taillights as well. My last suggestion is buy from skys the limit they are the Carpro USA distributor. I also buy packs of their lint free towels. The kit comes with one but they are very handy. I keep one in the trucks for wiping the radio and dash cluster.

Cerakote is the best option for trim. I haven’t really used a dedicated coating for glass though. You can use CQuartz on glass also, but I haven’t tried it.
