@Pudge when I started it was low 40's and got up to I think 51. Not bad, no wind. I wear a thick rubber glove when washing with helps a lot. Ive been slacking on mine too. Had to get it done before the real cold sets in.

You missed a spot. Get it? “Spot” because there’s a dog.

I’d love to see that in person. I know you put a ton of hard work into that truck. I need to get off my ass and do a good polish on mine. It looks great from a distance, but those spots from whatever got on it a while back are driving me nuts.

It’s kind of like wheels and wheel wells. It’s a lot of work to get them looking good, but never stays that way long, so I usually don’t bother. The only product that lasts any time at all in the nerf bars is Superior Cover All, and that’s maybe a week or two at best.

It still looked great about 4 months after I did it. And I saw it last weekend and it looked about the same just dusty from my brother blowing leaves in the yard. I didn't take a pic last weekend but this one was 3 or 4 months post. It's rarely driven but stored outdoors except dec-feb

I have the OEM plastic over aluminum running boards. They will look okay for about a week too, I usually just run out of time.

The running boards on my wife’s stay nicer looking for longer. It’s all plastic on top, painted along the bottom. Trim Shield keeps the plastic looking good for a long time. Nothing I know of will really bond with the metal ones like @Fotnot and I have.
It’s super easy to put some Waxaddict or something on them, but it comes right off.

Can’t argue. I need to start with those instead of the paint sometimes. I’m old, fat, and achy, so I never feel like it after washing the rest.

The Vortex I applied the other day doesn’t look as good as when I did it last year. I bought the discounted product. It stated that the only issue was it had the wrong scent, but I’m wondering now. It didn’t feel quite right when I was putting it on.

My dumbass also got a ton of it on the trim, so maybe I’ll have a good answer the next time someone asks how to fix that.

Love this, pic. You need to stop calling it MGM. That’s definitely not MGM. MGM isn’t that pretty.
