If anyone hasn't tried microfiber pads on their DA yet I would recommend checking out the various offerings from Buff and Shine at autogeek right now. I picked up a few cutting and polishing MF pads for 33% off today and free shipping.
Their urofiber pads are nice, they can cut or buff depending on what product you put on them. Their urowool is a bad ass cutting pad.
This time, I went ahead and got dedicated cutting and polishing pads today for $6 each, they get phenomenal reviews. I still like foam and will use foam, but MF pads are getting better and better, and Buff and Shine makes some very durable, high quality pads.

Looks like mine. Unfortunately for me it's been below 20° all week , it might reach 40 next week. I could maybe sneak in an ONR / ECH2O wash but probably need the hose at this point

Spent all day. Washed, decontaminated, clayed, then Meguiars D151 with a orange lake country CCS pad and finished with Collonite 845 on a red pad.
I have never taken this one to a car wash in its entire life which makes it much easier to get back in perfect condition. Always 2 bucket method with 3 different mitts. One mitt for the top and half way down the doors, one for the lower doors and front rear bumpers, and one for wheels and really dirty areas like wheel wells and under body.

Old pic from 2017 after I just bought the truck. Had tons of swirl and light scratches (trail brush?). First time with a DA polisher but the results were amazing. About time to do it again though. Just thought the reflection looked cool.

Looks great!!! Really great, and good for you working in the cold. What's the temperature like around you this week? I can't get myself out there to clean under about 45, I get cold fast and my fingers and toes go numb, I think I have circulation issues or raynauds or something. I slack way off on washing this time of year. Results in needing to polish every summer and I dont go thru car washes, I need a ceramic coating or something

Can't wait to use mine. I tested it in glass with a rayon pad, I loved it. My old GG6 was great too I think they are the best polisher for your money
