20191023_111052.jpg I believe this is a decent shine on a WHITE (the fastest color)Tundra.

It got dark on me but a couple pics. I foamed, washed, clay mitted my moms car which had zero wax or anything for at least a year. Then hit it with hydro2 and dried it off. Took me about an hour. Wow is it nice and easy doing an Impreza instead of a Tundra.

I'll have to take pics tomorrow but I used a paste wax for the first time in a decade today. Just did my hood, it was a free gift from autogeek with an order. Its britemax vantage wax. I used a MF application sponge thing and buffed it off with a nice MF towel. I have to say it definitely looks and feels good. I will likely use it again when I feel like spending a little more time. But honestly the hood took me 5 minute of actual working time, about 15-20 minutes to set up in thos cool weather. The DPC shield coating I have on continues to look like crap and I'm hoping it wears itself away by next spring. I would normally be applying my winter coat or hydro2/reload about this time of year, but I'm not going to in hopes the ceramic wears off quicker.

Yup it really does. The truck looks great from a few feet away but like shit up close. Most people wouldn't notice but I do, and you would. I considered polishing it off but I'm worried about the coating itself scratching the clear coat when I start buffing. It's a tough decision but I'll have to live with my mistake for a few more months then come spring I'll buff off whatever is left with Ckear Cut and Essense the jewel/finesse it with some Essence and then reload. She should look as good as new come May.

No reflection but pretty good beading, very tiny and tight beads from britemax vantage paste wax. It was raining all day so I couldn't get pics of it dry since I applied the wax applied. 3 mile drive home at about 40 mpg, and the truck was pretty much dry, I love taking a hard turn and watching the small beads form together then roll off the hood in one big sheet.

Got asked to put the truck in a homecoming parade. School colors were blue and white too,so it was fitting. Prob the cleanest vehicle there since the weather was misting the whole way there and no one else pulled out detailing spray and microfiber cloths to clean up. People complimenting the truck the whole way. Even had to pull someone out cuz they got stuck in the wet grass/mud. Then that afternoon we brought people around the subdivision in the trailer for trick or treating. Utilized the tundra again of course. Yes...my daughter and I washed the trailer too before. lol
