    Thanks! 2013 with 110K.

Been picking up a trick or ten around here from you guys on how to do all this stuff. The level of expertise on this forum blows me away.

Funny I never cared too much until I got the Tundra but I totally love this thing and really enjoy detailing it.

Good idea. Can you share the brand of urethane? I’ll do the same, the logo gets under my skin.

First you shamed me to take it to the car wash, then you made me wax it, then you made me clean the insides, then you made me clay bar it, then you made me buy some kinda water beading stuff, next you'll make me buy rims and tires

Just took the garbage out and walking up the driveway, it does look good. How long do you have to wait from the time you spray it on until you wipe it off? That beading stuff.

I'd skip the harbor model too. Yeah it works and it's cheap but for a little more you can get one that works better, is less fatiguing to use, is quieter, and will last longer. Porter cable or griots. You won't be sorry. I went the HF route and now have a Griots, I wish I went that route from the beginning.

Yeah @driverdog Jim made me do ceramic coating. I washed my previous truck 3 time in 3 years, and not again for 12 years, I wash this one every two weeks. But the ceramic is badass. Topped with reload. Today's storm left the water running off. What was left puddled like jello on the hood and rolled off like a tsunami when I hit the brakes. I still won't keep adding top coats, reload is supposed to last 6 months, I have 11 months on it now. Beach, trails or mud, the stuff washes off easily. I'm told I'm doing it correctly. Don't keep changing things. Do it right and your life is easy, at least for truck cleaning.

This is a good example of doing it the right way and using a product as intended. Lots of people think that using certain products is a waste of money and just for looks. What you quickly learn after using some of these high end detailing products is that they not only offer great paint protection but also make cleaning so much easier. Sap and bugs used to take a lot of work to get off my paint, and sometimes it left permanent damage. Now with a good sealant, bugs and sap wipe off with ease with no damage to the clear coat. I have hydro2/reload on my truck, washing and drying time is easily cut in half because of the sealant. Ceramic is even better than what I have, it does all that for years and years. Detailing is Not just for good looks, a shiny truck is just a perk that comes along with properly taking care of your vehicle.
