Yeah that’s kind of what I was hoping for. It seems to be more of a sealant than anything else and I always like to get a good coating of something before winter hits.

It'll help from water staining and make it a lot easier to wash as less crap bonds onto the paint. Do your wheels too

I did my Silverado with that same coating, at one year it was still performing as it should, my truck was parked inside though. I used an all-in-one to correct the paint after claying, and wiped down with a surface prep after polishing.

Well done....by 'all in one'....I'm guessing you mean a one step polish/compound combo product? Which one did you use, and with what pad? I'm a big fan of that approach....so I'm always curious to see what pad/product combinations others are using

I used 3D One Rubbing Compound & Finishing Polish along with Meguiars Microfiber DA pads, this was the result.

    IMG_9765.jpg

I did recently buy some URO Buff and Shine pads to give a try on the wifes Honda, heard good things about them.

You'll love the UroFiber 50/50 pads......they are great for straight polishing when you want a little extra cut over a polishing pad

Picture from a few months ago. Got some dust/dirt specks on it by the time I got home. :( But it’s still shiny enough to deform me. :eek2: IMG_4944.jpg

2014 SR5 project I just picked up , wanted to do paint correction first; clay bar, heavy cut , polish, and collinite on top.

Truck looks good.......word of caution.....the clearcoat on these vehicles is notoriously thin.....so investing in a paint thickness gauge might be a good idea if you ever have to do any heavy correction again

That’s what I’ve heard thank you for that, I was only planning on doing it once and get it to the stage I could do an occasional polish and frequent wax

Iced down the whip. Used Adam's Advanced Graphene Ceramic. This stuff was very easy to use.
