I tried cerakote ceramic spray. Should It be hard to buff out?

 

If by 'buff out'....you mean remove, without any streaking.....no, it should not be hard....no spray ceramic should be. Some of them are very temperature, both air and panel, and humidity dependent as it pertains to ease of removal. Was it either hot and/or humid when you applied....did you apply it in full sun.....were the panels hot when you sprayed it on?

 

Well at least one vehicle got detailed today.

I was beginning to wonder. A newby like me learns much at the feet of one of the Masters of this site.

 

I am no master, but January is typically slow and just busy with life in general. Got coatings booked all month tho so back to the grind...the never ending rat race.

 

Enhanced a few photos with lux setting because if my wife can wear makeup to fool me into marrying her, my business shots can look a wee bit prettier.

 

Worked pretty hard on my son in law’s Bronco yesterday. I don’t know if it’s the artist or the canvas, but I don’t think it came out very impressive. I realized after the sun came up that I completely missed the windshield but I wasn’t breaking the pressure washer back out.
I didn’t take any before pics but I tried out Griots Ceramic Trim Restorer on the plastic and it really brought it back to life.

 

Blame the canvas. I've done a few of these in this color and the cement-wanna be grey. While they look good, they aren't jaw dropping like most coated vehicles I do. Something to do with the angles and color choices just don't match up.

Meguiars ceramic spray wax topped with chemical guys butter wax.

I’ve got my eyes on some other products I’ll be trying soon.

 

The big girl got some much needed tlc. Upper front cap repainted, new upper window with ceramic limo tint. Also, the entire front cab received a good cut, wax and polish.

My daughter has told me that she's seen at least 5 people take pics of the truck while driving since getting buzz n Woody.
Before then she only noticed 6 or so people take pics of the truck while driving

when i show up to get the kids at school, the other kids get a kick out of it.
one kid told my daughter that he saw a vehicle on interstate a week before with woody hanging off of it. my daughter got all excited and was saying, "THATS MY DADDY!"

After hours of research and watching YouTube videos I decided to take the plunge and polish the truck. Took me a solid 7 hours between all the steps but definitely worth it as it took out a large percentage of the swirl marks and really gave it that pop that black needs to look good. I followed it up with Adam’s polish graphene ceramic coating spray-we’ll see how long it lasts.
