Looking for inspiration/options for installing my amp in my gen 3 crew cab. I am thinking i want it to go behind the rear seat in the middle. I am planning keeping the rear plastics in place and mounting my amp and crossover to them. I am open to other locations as well and would love to see photos!

Same. 4 micro steel bolts with nyloc nuts. And small square of HDPE behind beauty panel since this middle section of panel is less rigid and had to be firmed up.

Nice install. I really like the grommets the wire s pass through. Where did you get them?

Thanks. The two small grommets used for the power and ground passthroughs from Knuconceptz, matches their flexible OFC wire. The large O-ring grommet used for all the speaker wires passthru came from an assortment pack purchased off the shelf at Harbor Freight.

Gotta love that knuconceptz. I used the same wire. I will have to go out and find some grommets that fit. I used a step drill bit and never measured the diameter.

For sure, great product and price (kc). Really like your D-5.1300 install. The D-5 has dedicated 500w channel for Sub, very nice. Currently i am running each (125w) channel of the D-6.1200 here to drive front and rear stage doors and dash, including midbass drivers actively driven which is very nice; however, this leaves only Line Out to feed a powered Sub (under passenger seat in my case). In the future i may purchase a separate subwoofer amp to drive a stout passive Sub and place this second amp in the cubby where you have your D-5.
