Got some 295/70 -18 tires and 1" wheel spacers to throw on the rig. I have the wheel and tire warranty through toyota I'm wondering if I should have them install the set up to avoid issues with warranty voiding?

I've read that people have had issues with the dealer not wanting to install oversized tires or spacers.

Check with your dealer first. If dealer has issues then find a Discount Tire store to mount them...

Screw the dealer. Magnusson Moss act is on your side.

I know I should just call them main reason I asked is my dealer is a bit out of the way so it would be much more convenient to have a local shop do it but I feel like it wouldn't be very hard for them to connect the bigger tires and spacers to say a wheel bearing wearing out

Yeah Im going to just do the spacers myself anyway I have a hard time trusting anyone else for those lol but I have two tire shops within a rock throw of my house it would bet more of a PITA to drive out to the dealer.

I put these on mine. I cant imagine these would void a warranty, although i may be wrong?

I had to remove the front mud flaps. I have 33s on my truck and only have about a 1/2" clearance when turning.

I'm running 1.25 trailgear G2. If you install yourself, get a torque wrench.

I have a 16 pro so the couple extra inches should be enough to clear the 295s also I went with 1" bora wheel spacers20190106_205957.jpg

If you use wheel spacers invest in some good ones like bora or spydertraxx

Too many sketchy companies out there that I would never trust with something like that. Too many horror stories
