New ones can be had 10k off.
If you want a truck thats good inside and maybe the motor blows up get a 25.
If you want a rattle can that will maybe blow up, get a 22'. I expect the 2025's will be added to the recall in a year or two anyways.

Drive one before you go whimpering over the V8, you'll be surprised.

I'd go with the 22 and save your money. Too many people complaining about the same minor fit and finish issues with newer years so I didn't think they actually changed anything. Most of these issues are hit or miss, minor, and can be fixed with a tiny piece of foam tape. You'll have a brand new engine and more money in the bank.

I think if you can get a good enough deal, a ‘22 makes sense. I got my 22 crew max long bed 4x4 with convenience, premium, and premium audio packages with 16k miles on it for $42k. Softex seats, big screen, color matched handles and mustache, etc. Maintenance all up to date. Very few rattles, no squeaks. Very nice driving and feeling truck for a relatively low price. I would not pay $25k+ more for a 2025. I did get a very good deal though.
