    1. Why did yall stop talking? 2. Were you only trying to "hit it" at the time? 3. If yall were truly friends, you would go. 4. If she didn't want you there, she wouldn't invited you. 5. Welcome to the party!!
    :worthless:of her or your ride

So... unless she was mean and might be inviting you to make you feel bad she's marrying someone else, I say you should go if you cared about her.

I've lost touch with people I love over the years and missed them and wanted to get back in touch. In a few cases, I've been able to-- and we started up right where we left off. I've resumed friendships with friends I hadn't seen since 8th grade... and my family have vacationed twice with the family of a high school friend I hadn't been in contact with for 27 years.

So... unless you think your old friend has bad intentions, she may be using the importance of her wedding to let you know she values your friendship and misses you. (Weddings are expensive; people seldom invite anyone they don't either like or have some obligation to.)

Let us know how it turns out.

All depends on the reasons you guys lost touch.

I hadn’t talked to a good friend for years before I got married, (life and our path just took us in different directions) but I still asked him to be one of my groomsmen. Now we hang out at least once a month.

BUT either way, I have a rule, if you’ve slept with them or had a “more than friends” relationship with them, then stay away from either ones wedding. Just me though

I was going to ask the same thing. If the answer is yes then go. If it isn't then find something else to do.

    Actually quite simple:

    If You. Feel_Like_Going
    . GO
    Else
    . Don't GO
    End

Maybe OP thinks this is a "Tinder" forum..........

Is it local or out of town? Local maybe, I don't think I would travel (spend money on travel) to attend.

She is being cordial and wouldn't mind seeing you.

I have attended a few receptions without going to the weddings; they do not know you were not there.......... LOL

Suggestion to Staff: We need a "best of posts" like Craigslist............
