Shops, briefcases, and suitcases all have the same problem. You fill em up and wish you had more room, no matter how big.

    Sean,
Go to the opening post and look closely at the picture, look at the very top right corner and you can see the track for the BIG door! 14’ x 12’ high.

    Josh,
The basic stuff is done: lights, some benches and most of my tools. I got the forge set up and made the first leaf I’ve made in about 5 years
    EBB4220A-CBAB-44D0-929F-6562EE04519C.jpg
    I’ll take some pictures tomorrow.
I’m planning to do a split level mezzanine and frame a little insulated office for a comfortable place to do reloading, tie flys, rebuild carburetors and stuff. Plan is to do this during the wet season this winter.

739C78BE-DD43-4A1F-B01C-3BA46F15282F.jpg First bench, closest to the big door, most of the welding stuff and some other things.
One thing I learned long ago, don’t make all your benches the same height, different kinds of tasks are easier at different levels.
    00E6A565-85F1-420D-AAB7-BF7CB7892E67.jpg
Second bench, more mechanical oriented, lots of the shelving on the right will need to be relocated when I do the interior framing because that’s where the stairs to the mezzanine will be.

The forge set up, will probably move things around a few times till I get it right. The forge itself is on casters, so it’s easy to move.
    859C0DD4-BF2A-4397-B61E-5B5E78C5F077.jpg
The old boat will probably be kept in here till I get the shed built off the side of the Conex. Hopefully get to that before the end of the year.
Damn, retirement sure is a lot of work!
