We will either get in camp Friday night or Saturday morning. We have a pretty long drive so if we can’t make it in Friday, we might just camp near Ballarat and leave early morning Saturday. Depending on where you guys are camped we should make it into camp by 9 or 10 am at the latest.

ONE DAY OUT!!!

Everyone needs to check their meal assignments and make sure everything is correct. Looks like we're on our own for Sunday breakfast.

BRING FIREWOOD!!!! BRING EXTRA FUEL!!! You should all have access to the gpx file with the route plan. If you don't, reach out to me and I'll make sure you get it. There will be LONG stretches without gas and its going to suck real bad if you run out.

Make sure you have the right gear for staying warm at night. Its very possible we'll have a couple nights below freezing with wind.

I am going to check in with everyone today on their cell. Joon, you'll be responsible for Warren Matt and Dan, I'll use you as a group captain so there will be less guys for me to keep track of. Bruce, you'll be the group captain for David and Erik.

I hope you all inspected your trucks! I was doing a tire rotation on monday and I found a loose tie rod end. Bruce and I swapped it out yesterday in less than 5 minutes.

quick question for ya. For friday arrival time, are you expecting to be there for dinner or not. I need to plan for my friday dinner and i have a big chunk of you guys arriving then.

Best to plan for the Bastrds to NOT make it for dinner. No need to cook extra and then have us not show up on time. If we do make it on time we'll just whip something up.

 

Ill have extras so if you do there will be food. But either way works

 

Yeah don’t worry about us. If we make it in Friday won’t be til pretty late. We can just cook some burgers.
