this guy sounds a lil high on him self..if you LT a tundra and try to drive it like the recoil videos its not going to work..if you drive it like...... any of the guys that run LT without a cage and links youll have a great time...he says the tundra is huge then why are trophy trucks about the same size and weight

I will agree with him on that at full tilt 2.5 bypasses do ok but 3.0 or 3.5 is more suited for the rear to keep up, and for the front I’m not sure cause my 2.5 bypasses and 2.5 coil overs barely get warm after a spirited run... other than that yeah I agree w you..

Are you really comparing a stock truck with a bolt-on kit to a trophy truck? Trophy trucks are linked, with cages, and big v8 horsepower.

Jeezus. I think I just had an aneurysm reading all this bs about LT

I run 2.5 shocks all around with heavy valving and I weigh 8100#. I run the piss out of The Truck for hours and hours over heavy terrain in 100 degree desert heat and I never overheat the shocks

Leverage and shock stroke length matter. No way I would run 3.0 or larger. It's just extra weight and cost for no benefit.

I'm not even going to start debating with the guy who thinks Tundras don't make a good platform for LT. He's just a plain idiot.

Damn, I hope I don't get banned now...

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
Whoa. Ok. Everyone cool your jets. It’s too early to whip ‘em out and measure. I implore you to just come out on a run, and catch a ride with a Alex. It may or may not change your mind but what it will do is scare the crap outta you. There’s something about riding bitch that makes you feel so helpless. And Alex loves that!

Who’s The idiot? Maybe you just suck at reading comprehension? Who said it didn’t make a good platform for LT? I just put out considerations.

You're right. I shouldn't call you an idiot if I'm not willing to debate with you and I'm not. So I take it back. I'm sorry I called you an idiot.

But everything you said is wrong

I think he was basically pointing out the costs associated with building an LT Tundra. Saying, financially speaking, you could do a lot more for a lot less if you started with a smaller platform like a Taco. That’s how I read it.
