Don't get me wrong (and this goes to everyone else, too).. I never said long-travel wasn't worth it. I've been saving up myself to stack long-travel on top of my bracket lift (for obvious reasons that I've already explained a dozen times elsewhere and yes it can work).

I'm saying it might not be necessary. At the end of the day, of course, if someone wants to spend cash on mod X over mod Y (let's say a supercharger), that's their call. We build our trucks in our vision and that's all that matters; my vision is to do shit to my truck that no one else ever does or rarely -- plus, I do mostly technical trails.

I'm down to go out on a run with you guys as long as a certain person can't make it. I got a few fanboy haters that follow me everywhere to troll or spout jealousy. You just have have to drown out the haters (ie. use the "block/ignore" function or flat out avoid being around them in person) because they're just a waste of time. The rest of the SGU crew has some sick trucks and the driver's behind them are just as sick.

If you judge everyone by their online behaviors then I feel sorry for you.

I personally vouch for every one of the guys that I wheel with and I would never wheel with someone that lets internet opinions influence who they would be willing to wheel with.

    Real life > internets

Yo! Yea, agreed for sure, I need to redeem myself from running out of talent and donking on that rock that fucked up my spindle. I'll make it out with you guys again someday for sure.

I may make you wait until I stack long-travel (going with Camburg) up front; though, again, I'm mostly building my truck for technical trails.

I do a lot of technical trails too. We wheel with stock trucks all the time. You don't need to wait for LT. We go out once a month. We'll see you at Tundras to Sedona

Not everyone. And I'm sure he's a decent dude in real life. I just don't feel it's worth my time to go out of my way to give him an opportunity to give me a better impression. If we cross paths accidentally at a gas station or something, and he's cool, maybe that'll change my opinion. Everyone has their own opinion anyway.

@Spvrtan Pics from our last SGU trip. Our trips are more than just our gear, or our driving abilities, or who thinks what part is better. Our trips are about exploring remote areas with good friends

A little of this and a little of that. Its pretty run of the mill.
In other news, the stock Tundra axle I put in the LC burped up grease too. So even when Toyota assembles the CV, I guess it’s not impervious to spitting up.

In theory tho, my LC has stock tundra geometry. Tundra axle, Tundra UCA and LCA, and Tundra tie rod ends.

If it makes you feel any better, The Internet Savage treats us all the same online. You should’ve seen the ration of shit I got for building a nitrogen-based water system.
Until he needed nitrogen on the trail to fill one of his limp dick shocks.

that was a one-off kevin. Bruce didn't charge before he went on the trip. Its not like he was leaking.

I'll give you all the beer out of my fridge the next time you have to use your silly nitrogen system to charge a shock on the trail
