settings lost after software update?

For the last few weeks I've been prompted to update my software on the radio screen at start up. I've procrastinated and hit no but yesterday I decided to hit yes to stop that screen from popping up. Well.... it erased my radio presets, set door locks back to single door unlock via door handle or remote and some other stuff. Not impressed toyota. Don't let an update change settings. Now every time I get in it asks would I like to changed seat position. What a pain in the ass. I hit no everytime but it keeps asking so this morning I hit yes hoping it would stop asking. Small things sorry for the rant but toyota engineers please just leave my settings alone.

 

You may want to first check to see if you're logged out of your profile or something. Not sure about the door locks, but everything else you describe sounds like you're not logged into your profile. Maybe you're using the other FOB if you have two?

 

Ensure your key fob is linked to your system as well. When I performed the last update it dumped my key fob and caused a few headaches for me.

 

one has to wonder what else changes? Do privacy settings change without your knowledge?

 

Now I'm logged in. Primary driver. Connected key fob to profile. DO you want to adjust seat still pops up.

Edit: After about 12 hours (this morning) it stopped popping up.
