I bought the 5.7 because my goal was to burn the shit out of gas! The faster the better! :burnrubber:

I’ve been debating getting one of these for my wife. She drives a 2010 Highlander, but with our 2 kiddos I want to upgrade her to something bigger. She doesn’t know if she can drive something this large. I love these Sequoias, but I don’t know if I should do a used SR5 and mod it up, or get a Limited or platinum one and call it good. These can get up there in price real fast. The only thing that I really want is the captain chairs on the second row. Everything else I can add. Leather, Bilstein suspension, wheels, etc. Also, not a lot of people sell these used Sequoias. The market here in Seattle has very little used inventory.

My wife went from a 2012 Highlander to the Sequoia. Initially she didnt even want to test drive the Sequoia due to the size. I forced her to drive one and she fell in love. It has a smaller turning radius than our Highlander and is easier to park. Sometimes I think the wheels turn 90 degrees on this thing. It is stupid easy to navigate even compared to my Tacoma.

We did buy new due to lack of used inventory and went with the SR5. The Limited was $10k more. I figured once our kids trash the stock interior, we will install Katskin leather and still have $8500 left over for other upgrades.
