Security light blinking while driving???

I was driving home from the grocery store when I noticed the red truck with a key inside of it blinking next to the clock/temp.

I did a remote start but had the r/s for a year and never had it happen.
Truck drove fine. I shut it off after parking. Started it back with no problem and the light was gone.

The r/s is aftermarket but that's not the question.

What does the security light blinking mean? What will be disabled? Apparently nothing?

 

Ressurecting this thread to see what your outcome was? Out of my keys my extra one does this.

 

No clue what it was. I never got alarms or faults from it other than the light.
