I am trying to find out what the relay is for the Security Horn on a 2018 Tundra. I got a Security Horn, but looking in the fuse block the relay of course is not there and so far, no one seems to know the part number for that relay.

In the picture below, bottom row, 3rd one over you will see it labeled for Security Horn. But no part number

Here is a picture of the actual fuse block in the engine compartment

Straight up from my self made arrow is where the relay goes, as you can see, it is empty.

Anyone with a 2018, if you are able to look and get a picture of the relay showing the numbers, it would be very helpful.

    Thank you for your help.

So, what's a "security horn"? Is it an extra horn to replace the little electronic beeper that signals when locking/ unlocking?

I am assuming it is one that works with the tundra security system. My SR did not come with an alarm system, so it didn't have either the relay or the horn. It seems to add another horn to work with your horn I would assume as after I hooked it up and locked the doors, I had 2 different horn noises.

Thank you. What's the part number on the horn that you installed? My 2019 has two horn modules in front of the radiator, and a smaller electronic one close to the air intake box/ under passenger side hood strut that makes an electronic beep when locking/ unlocking with key fob. Mine is an SR5 and I don't have the flashing LED under the radio that says "Toyota Security" or similar.

The horn is the one under that passenger side hood strut. Mine was making the beeping from elsewhere.

I don't have that part number right off hand, I did get it a few months ago from the wrecking yard :)

Mine did not have that either, went to look if I even had the cabling for it and it didn't. I guess that is what I get for buying an SR instead :) But I had an aftermarket alarm put in, works like a champ.

I have added several things to my 2018 SR that was for the most part, easy to install (I have a link in my signature part).

This forum is great for ideas too.

Here are the arrows, but they don’t seem to line up correctly.

    Thread hi jack!!!
So if I take out the security/horn relay that will disable my factory alarm and horn? But not the regular horn triggered from the steering wheel?
Yes, I can test this when I get home. Not sure how my neighbors will like the horn going off.
