Getting ready to swap out my buckets from 04 DC for a 60/40 bench seat from 01 AC.

I understand that there is an airbag wiring issue that I have to deal with on the passenger side(??)

And one hole may not line up for which I may need to fab a bracket.

Also, I probably need seatbelt hardware that was bolted to the floor on the bench AC truck.

Can I leave my drivers seat alone and just swap the passenger side (remove console)?
In otherwords, is the drivers side the same in both bench and buckets? Is the only difference the center and passenger side? It appears this way, and it would be nice to retain my power options which the bench model does not have.

Thank you all so much. Let me know if I'm missing anything., and pray I don't mess up!!

I’ve pulled the buckets in an AC truck. I’ve ridden in a bench truck. I’m of the opinion that you should do one or the other and not the hybrid you’re considering. I’m also unsure why you’d convert to a bench, unless it had one before, doesn’t sound like your dilemma though. Post pics when you’re finished

I'd like to make room for one more person on occasion when I take the family camping.

If it's the exact same size drivers seat on the bench and the bucket doesn't really seem like a hybrid.

For example look at these photos. There is one of each and they appear the sameScreenshot_20250606_211931_Google.jpg Screenshot_20250606_211108_eBay.jpg Screenshot_20250606_211931_Google.jpg
