I have Techstream and can not figure out where the option to turn off the seatbelt alarm is.
Can someone lead me in the right direction in the software?
    Thanks

Can you disable the key in ignition with door open warning?

You can only disable the audible. The light will always remain.

Deaf people are allowed to drive, but they need to be able to see the seat belt not engaged light.

In my truck there were only options to adjust volume and ding frequency. I put it on the lowest setting and the slowest frequency. If I want to listen to the radio with the doors open I hardly have to turn the radio up. It's fine like this to me, it's just barely loud enough to remind me the key is still in the ignition.

You are correct, just the seat belt chime and the key in the ignition chime are 2 different alarms.

Yes, and I haven't used TechStream in a while, but I'm sure that each setting is in a different ECU, so there's some looking around to be done to find them.

Anybody have an issue where their techstream won’t actually open the Customize features?

I haven't. With that said, have you been able to access any of those features via the ECUs that have those options? For example, going to the A/C ECU (not sure that's the exact name) and checking to see if it brings up the options for unlinking the A/C from Defrost (or some such)? I think other ones would be for how many doors unlock on one press of the fob versus two presses, I can't recall exactly which ECU that'd be, but hopefully you get the drift.

It’ll connect to the truck and identify it just fine but i do get an error at the beginning. From there i can run a health systems check, check the logs on the truck, program a key (though still stumbling through the remote programming part of it). Everything minus the fun stuff so far as I can tell

Well thars yer problem! Ha! Sorry, I've never had to deal with that scenario and am not able to offer suggestions outside of googling "techstream reduced functionality".

All good. I can't get past this screen though which is a tease. S601:31 won't load.

A shot in the dark. If you close TS, disconnect from the internet (aka Airplane Mode) and open TS again and give it a go, does that work? Also, when you first opened and ran TS, did you select "Corporate" in one of the dropdown menus? Maybe changing that to one of the other selections will get you somewhere. Only make one change at a time though, that way if something begins working, we'll have an idea what the glitch was.

SOLVED- when installing the drivers for the j2534 cable, you have the option to install multiple drivers. Use the higher number/later versions and you'll be able to customize.

Still trying to program new all in one FOB that i jimmy rigged together from 3 different keys. Truck recognizes it when I run a remote diagnostic but won't program it. Different issue though .. this is fixed and my seat belt chime is off and a few other features are on.

Thanks to all for input and help
