Hey Yall- new Tundra Owner here, and new to the forum, so thanks for having me.

I traded in my 2011 GMC Sierra Z71 Crew Cab for the Tundra CrewMax 1794 4X4, and with no regrets! However, the former Diamondback SE Cover I had on the GMC was perfect, and I had a headache rack and drop-in box, but it won't fit the tundra (bed is about 3 inches too short, "so she says"...). I need to #1) Sell my current Diamondback Cover and Drop-In Tool Box, and then #2) Figure out what bed cover to put on my new Tundra. Trying to figure out how to attach a few pics of the former GMC with cover and my new/current ride, as they are showing up as thumbnails embedded here:

Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    :wave:Hi and welcome form SoCal!

You can't go wrong with a Diamondback! Sell the one from the GMC and get the one for the CM.

Thanks Pinay! Having trouble selling the current one because it only fits 2007 - 2013 models...

    Welcome from the Houston area!

If Diamond back cover works, I am sure they make one for the Tundra.

You may need to come down on price! Part of upgrading I think...

Did you try listing on Craigslist?

Thanks Trooper2. Nice ride, and I'm originally from H-Town, so nice to know ya. They do make them for Tundras, and they are great, but quite an investment, so curious to know what other covers are out there and decent or beyond functional for the Tundras.

    Where are you now?

Yea, those are pricey. Lots of opinions and different needs from covers. There are some threads on here people have discussed as well.

I have learned to not like any retractable cover, longevity issues. I like my Revolver X4 on my 2500 Z71 work truck, not the cheapest but suits my needs. Many like there hard folding ones.

    Good Luck!

Been in NOLA since 2003 (after LSU). I'll check out the Revolver. Retractable not appealing to me, but the flip-back style is, somewhat.

I know this may sound crazy but if the only limitation is the bed being 3 inches shorter (assuming it fits the width) , can you have 3 inches cut out of that center area where the hinges are and weld it back together?

It’s aluminum and coated with LineX spray on bed liner so the costs to modify might prove nearly as expensive as purchasing a replacement. Welding aluminum ain’t cheap or easy.

    Welcome from SE PA!
There are tons of options for tonneaus, it just depends on personal preference. From what I've seen, it looks like you can't beat Diamondacks for heavy duty performance. I didn't need heavy duty performance and preferred a fold back. I want with the Bakflip MX4 and love it.
