Where did you order?

 

Search the part number on eBay. Only one dealer selling them there.

 

Yeah, I’ve got a list of a few things that are glaringly missing from the TRD. What’s really nuts is this is only an east coast thing. WTF Toyota?!

Interesting....my receipt from Sparks has an 11:37 am time stamp (PST) and when I click on the “Order Status” link it just says “backordered”. I haven’t received any other emails/notifications. I’m sure they got a surge today, so a delay is to be expected. Hopefully Toyota has a big inventory somewhere. As long as it arrives before Christmas, I’ll be happy.

Damn, I was hoping to not need to sepnd $170, but this seems to look and work better than the DIY. I'll probably be getting one. Why do the 2020 Limited/Platinum/1794 not come with these stock?

This is so awesome! Just picked up the last one off eBay. Can't wait to get this installed. Always thought Toyota should have put a wireless charger there or in front of the transmission shifter.

Never used one (of any kind), but from what I’ve read it all depends on the thickness and material of your case. I think we all will need to report on how well it works with whatever case we are using.

It looks like the front is more vertical than the stock part which was designed to launch my phone right into the center of the dash when hitting the brakes with any more than 3 inch pounds of force....

That alone would be worth the price.

I too wonder what covers will work, I currently have done the 3 coil mod to my stock armrest(took the coils out of the stock case as well), it will charge my iphone 8 plus without the cover. However with the Magpul case it will not. I have the same 3 coil charger on my nightstand and it will work with the case on there. So guessing the stock armrest is too think. If this new mod works then might be worth it and the cell phone ramp squared off would help.

 

Interesting...well, I have the Magpul case too on my iPhone 8, so I’ll report how it works.

Well, that was a very easy install. It took about 35 min start to finish. I gotta say, appears to work very well. Phone lights up immediately without the need to try & position it just perfectly. I like the small rubber grabbers that will keep the phone from hitting the dash if you need to stop suddenly . I have an iPhone XS with a UAG case (NOT THE CHEAP ONE). I like ambient lighting. I have been installing little things here & there like the cup holders. I only mention it because one of the only downsides I can see will be the lighting. I do love that it can be turned off very easy if you are not using it. I also like how the kit has a wire guild for the rail on the lid. It keeps the whole set up looking absolutely stock. Very pleased.

 

I have a note 10+ and it fits fine.

 

So I visited Longo Toyota; which is if not the largest then is one of the larger Toyota dealer in California. I gave them the part number and they said it doesn’t exist. Parts guy says it is an aftermarket part that’s why it is only available from limited dealerships. He guarantees me it is not a Toyota part. Oh well... I guess Sparks will get my business on this one.

 

Yeah it will still work, they haven't changed the floor shift console since 14.

I’ll let you know I just ordered mine and have the big otter box defender case on my phone. I have a wireless charger from Verizon for the house and it works on that so I’m hoping for the same outcome.

 

Does the yellow caution sticker come off? or is it like the ones on the visors
