SCS Ray10 wheels 18x9

Just got my shipping notification!

 

Those types of scuff is usually from the tire installation. If they're not too handy with the tire bar, it's easy to scuff up the edge of the wheel. Buy a fine tip model paint brush and some satin/semi gloss black paint and paint away.

This provides a decent paint match for the lip.

That's our brushed gold and there's only 1 set left for the Tundra which is available on our website. We probably won't do another run of them since I don't think the Tundra guys are really ready for this type of finish. The Tacoma and 4Runner guys stampede over each other to order them .

Those are 275/70/18
No lift. Only rubs very slightly on the front mud flap but only going in reverse. I need to just remove it

Hey guys,
Just wanted to do a quick review of my experience so far with @SCSPerformance. I first messaged Vin from Scs a week ago on this forum. He was very quick to respond and answer any questions I had. Not only this but the day I purchased the wheels he went out of his way to assure me they would ship the same day. I got the wheels in a couple days and I have to say they are beautiful!
Overall it was a great experience working with Vin at Scs and would recommend him and his product to anyone.

Agree with everything you said, exact same experience for me. Messaged him late Monday about wheels, paid for them today and they are on the way and scheduled to be delivered Friday. Top notch customer service!

 

These are Toyota center caps. You can get them on Amazon or eBay. If you want black, there are some people that make stamped aluminum decals on Etsy. 65 mm diameter will stick right on top of the SCS logo. I’ll take pics tomorrow of them if you want. I’m running them right now

 

Any plans to sell the machined lip version again?

 

Any chance you guys are going to do a run of 18x9 brushed copper or brushed bronze? I'm looking for something in a lighter finish. If the stealth blue came in a bright finish (that doesn't clash with cav blue) that might look pretty cool too.

I'm also on the fence about giving up 20s. I like how they fill the wells better than my old TRD 18s. Just not a fan of the limited style.

 

@SCSPerformance how do I remove the center cap without damaging the tabs?

 

Most likely not. The Tundra guys didn't respond to well with them with the SR8.

Similar to what I quote above, it just seems like most Tundra owners won't stray away from our standard finishes. All the limited runs we've done have all just sat too long in our warehouse taking up space so we're very reluctant to offer colors like brushed copper and brushed bronze. The Tacoma and 4Runner owners love them in 6 lugs, but not so much love from the 5 lug Tundra crowd.

 

You would need to take the wheel over the truck and pop them off from the backside.
