Anyone have pictures of how flush these fit with 285/70/18 tires. I wish someone would make a set of rims in 18x9 with an offset that matches the tucked look of the stock +60 offset TRD wheels.

I agree - I’ve spent hours looking at wheel threads figuring out what width and offset I need for my tires to be flush with my fenders. These appear to be a couple inches outside the factory wheel wells.

Our wheel specs are all more aggressive than stock so for the most part, they will poke pass the fenders. Aftermarket wheels with the factory spec is very unlikely b/c that's not really what the consumer market demands. Your best bet is to stick with a TRD wheel like the Rock Warrior or drop the big bucks and go 3pc forge wheels to achieve your specific wheel size.

I agree with your comment, I’m just surprised. I had no trouble finding an aftermarket Tacoma wheel that perfectly aligned with the fender. For some reason trends in full-size trucks seem to be tread outside the fender. Maybe it’s because everyone wants to run wider tires. For me, an 8” Ray 10 that sat even with the outside of the rim would be perfect. I’d run a 275/70R18 with no lift and go about my business. But I’ve never been a mainstream kind of guy. That’s why my duck dog is a poodle and not a lab.

Agreed. If I could find a decent-looking wheel with a +35ish offset I'd be all over it.

You would have to treat them just like any other alloy wheels. Routine cleaning is key to a long lasting finish. If you neglect the paint, it will eventually deteriorate prematurely. They won't quickly rust out like cheap steel wheels, but you do have to maintain them like you would an OEM alloy wheel.

    Here's one that we have,

Any pics of matte dark bronze on MGM? I feel like I've seen it somewhere on this site, but I can't remember where. I'm torn between those and the matte gunmetal.

Is it possible to get the wheel without the simulated bead lock?

As for the bead locks, are they just simulated bolt heads? Possible to have bolts powder coated on my own and sent to you all to replace the silver ones? I have no idea how these are constructed.

They are removable stainless steel bolts so you could always take them off for powder coating. Hand snug(8-9ft lbs) them back on with blue loctite and you'll be good to go.

Thats a good idea. I love the wheels but dont want poser fake bead locks. I wish we could get them in a smooth lip construction.

Agreed. I’d even take black heads instead of silver. I’m going black and cement on my rig, the silver throws it off, not to mention my OCD! I’m on the cusp of pulling the trigger because they’ve been great to work with, but dropping $1100 on rims and not having them exactly how I want them makes me scratch my head.

Whether it's our SCS wheels or another brand, definitely go with something that you'll be completely happy with. We wouldn't want anyone to feel that they have to settle with any of our products. We're enthusiasts first before anything else!

I too hate the fake beadlock look. I took the bolts out of my Ray 10's and had them Cerakoted black. It helped

Can you PM me a few pics of that? Also, how delicate of a job was it? My fear is scratching brand new rims when I remove them.

it was an easy process. I taped the outside of my socket and took my time to remove them.
