Got sick of waiting for the Ray 10's. I heard they were supposed to land in December - still nothing. My impatience got the best of me and I just pulled the trigger on some Method NV 305s.

When lugs get over-torqued by an impact gun, the keys are designed to fail first before a lug nut gets stripped. You can order a M14 replacement on our website. They are $10ea shipped.

Tire shops are the worst for this, they love to work those rattle guns. Toyota got me like this once. I had to slide a cheater over an 18" breaker bar and it still took a lot of umph. After 2 of them broke free with an audible "ping" I torque checked it at over 200lbs (max on my torque wrench). I drove it back and had them break free and retorque every wheel.

Anyone else run into this - water seems to gather under the valve. Sometimes I get a towel and dry it and sometimes I just leave. I don't think its hurting anything just leaving it but figured I would ask here.

Yep. The only thing I don't like about these wheels. Not a huge deal for me though. Still love the wheels!

Yeah, that’s one of the “characteristics” of these wheels. I just keep a towel in the truck and soak it up every so often. Probably doesn’t hurt anything but if the sun hits that spot too long it may cause some weird paint issues.

Looks good! Did you pull them and paint or powdercoat them or just swap them out?
What did you use if you swapped them all?

I used the nylon eBay bolts. I can’t find the post, but I see a link for it below in that product section. I either found the SCS confirmation on this site or TacomaWorld. I wasn’t about to paint 80 bolts lol

Yeah, the painting part wouldn't be that hard, just plug them all into a big piece of cardboard and have at it.
The hard part would be re-installing them all without scratching or chipping them.
Those nylon nuts are way cheaper and easier for sure!

Maybe someone can chime in with some Pro pics. I’m looking to stay with 275/70/18 tires on my 21 Tundra pro crewmax. Anyone have any pics with the SCS wheels on a side shot trying to see how much tire sticks out. I have had 3 set of SCS wheels on my tacomas and 4Runner. But I want to see what the tire looks like on a side shot on the tundra. Thanks.

Side view of 275/70/18 Cooper AT3 XLTs on Ray 10s. Not a Pro, but same stance.

That’s looks good not much poke at all. Which is what I want. You are stock height? No rubbing issues?

I have coilovers up front at 2". I get very light rub when turning and backing. I feel it but its not even leaving a mark on the liner so I don't really worry about it. I'm sure a little fender liner massaging would fix it, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

This is where I got mine from. They ended up shipping much faster than originally quoted. One thing to mention, even though I knew not to tighten them too much, I still broke off one of the heads. Was able to drill it out but added another 20 minutes to the job.
