That looks great. MGM Crue. I have the same truck and looking at the bronze as well. Your pic solidified that for me. Totally changes the look.

 

Damn now I wish I would have gotten the bronze instead of the gunmetal for my MGM.

I am so happy with how it turned out... I just got in my new grill, bulge, handles and mirror caps to further get rid of the chrome.

 

Wrecked one of my Ray 10 (Matte Black) today on a curb. Need an 18x9 replacement. @scs_vuth can you sort me out?

 

Anyone know of a gold set for sale for the Tundra? Co worker looking for a set.

 

Any ideas when the next set of limited run wheels will be coming thru and what color they might be? I am also looking for the brushed gold or copper.

 

You guys should start seeing if you can round up committed buyers for the single run wheels. SCS had a hard time moving all of them for the Tundra, so they are understandably reluctant to allocate the resources. I bet if you talk to them and get a goal number they'd work with you. They just don't have the ability to keep them on hand for the few buyers for them. Just not the same interest in them on our trucks.

Right, they have openly said they aren't planning a run because there isn't enough interest to justify the minimum number of sets they have to produce in a run. Did you ask them if they would do a run if you could round up X number of committed buyers?

Yeah, never hurts to try. I don't know what their minimum run is, but if you had enough buyers to get them all, I don't see why they wouldn't do it. Probably still be quite a wait for them, though. I'm still waiting for the Gunmetal ones to be back in stock.

 

I asked them a few months back too and got the same response, let’s hope more people want them so we can get a run of them.

So I just got a message from Vin he said that if we can get 15 people to sign up for a group buy they will do a run of them. They would all have to be brushed gold or copper but if we can get 15 committed he’ll do it.

I’ve been in contact with Vin over at SCS Wheels and he has confirmed for me that if we can get 15 people committed to a buy he will do a either the brushed gold or brushed copper finish in the Ray 10s as a special group buy. They all have to be Ray 10s and they all have to be one color either the brushed gold or brushed copper we can’t mix and match. So who is in for the group buy? We need 15 I’m down for a set of brushed gold. So who wants in? Let me know and I’ll start a list and contact Vin when we get enough. I vote brushed gold. Thanks

 

These will be even cooler if we get a limited run of them. I think people will want to run them after they see them on a few trucks.

 

You can put me down for (5) either color. It may be beneficial to start a thread with a poll for the color and photos of both colors. Not sure if Vin will have to start that or not to make it official.

 

I tried to start a new thread in the group buy section however my account isn’t old enough yet to post there, I just bought a 2017 Super White Crewmax and leaving tomorrow to go pick it up and I’m wanting some new wheels and I saw a picture of some brushed gold and copper and I needed to have them. So if anyone can move this to that or start a new thread with a poll I’m good with that to decide @SCSPerformance hopefully we get the amount we need to have a limited run.
