What is everyone thinking for tires? I live in North Dakota so I am looking for something good on ice. The duratracs are really the only thing that fits the bill. 275/70/18 (which some will say is too skinny for a 9 inch wheel) or 295/65/18 (which will likely need flares).

Deciding to purchase these wheels was easy compared to the decision of what tires to mount on them. I'm leaning toward 35x12.5 BFG KO2, but I'm also considering Nitto Ridge Grappler, Goodyear Duratrac, and Cooper STT Pro and might go 295/70 if available to save some weight.

I'm thinking 285/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

I like that size as well but my options are limited when dealing with ice for 5 months of the year.

I'm going with this or maybe the same Ridge Grappler in 295/70's. Good thing is we have time to decide.

@SCSPerformance, not sure if you can tell due to business practices or something like that but how many that walk among the living will possess these glorious gems for our steeds come January? Just curious so I can rub it in when speaking to my friends.

    Aren’t the 100 series the 6 lugs?

If so you’re in luck he has quite a six lug selection. Check out the website!

How do you like your ridge grapplers? I’m pretty curious on the 285/70R18 size. I’m in northern IL and go to Wisconsin over the winter and want to make sure they can handle snow and ice.

    Hello from Texas,

They are great, we don't get snow here but they run great off and on road! They are fairly quite for big tires and they handle great and seem to hug the road well! I ran Toyo's on my last Tundra and wanted to give these a try now and am happy!

Just wait to see what comes in stock. I doubt they sold all the sets on the preorder. I will say though be ready to order when they hit the SCS website.

    Lugs will be neon green.

J/K.. In keeping with the Stealth theme, the lugs will be black!

Nice. Hey Vin, what size are the little fake beadlocks and are you going to be offering them separately in black for those that want to get rid of the chrome?

It's a M6x8 SS bolt, very hard and almost non-existent to be honest. We aren't offering them in black at this time, but you can take them off and have them powder coated if desired.
