SCS Blemished Wheels

Are the matte black one available? If they ill take them.

 

I believe they keep the first post in the thread updated with available blemished wheels. There is currently nothing listed so I assume it is not available sir.

Can't say for certain, but I don't think they'd bother posting the 6 lug taco wheels here*, or the 5 lug Tundra wheels over there.

*They might put the 6 lugs here for the 1st Gen guys

Yeah the current Tundra/Sequoia are on 5 lugs, but the Taco, 4Runner, and 1st Gens all have 6.

 

TBH, since I'm more active on the Tacomaworld, that list over there is most likely going to stay more up to date.

I figured this is as good a place as any to ask…

Can a Ray 10 (18”) be mounted underneath & replace the current spare? What’s the largest tire? Anyone know?

I just scored a gunmetal set last night & if I can get a solid deal on a blemished 1, I’d rather have that as my spare. I’m either going 285/70 or 275/70 but I haven’t decided yet.

 

Yes. I have a 295/70 Ridge Grappler as a spare. You don’t have to, but I took out the spare tire guides and it gave it a little bit more room.

 

Absolutely. I have 285/75 18's on my 21 CM and it fits just fine. You need to grind off or drill out the rivets holding the positioning brackets. (just realized not my photo... From the internets, probs this site... )

Always happy to help out a fellow Cement owner! The Gunmetal Ray10s look so awesome with Cement! One of my favorite mods.

 

I’m super stoked. I have the newer 20” TSS wheels which I was thinking about powder coating, but then realized the logistics just weren’t going to work. I drive for work so I can’t not have my truck. I also wasn’t going to invest in “loaner wheels” & try to resell them, not worth the hassle. Plus I’d be spending what these Ray 10s cost me anyways. Now I just gotta decide on new tires! I’ve also got Eibachs front strut coilover assembly getting delivered & installed within the next 2 weeks. Can’t wait.

 

Were you able to snag a blem wheel for your spare?

 

No, I'm in Canada, and my shop just became a dealer, so I went through them. Saved a bunch of shipping/duty crap.

 

Some blem units are available for the Ray10. See post #1.
