Picked up a few items at a garage sale. Thought it was a great deal for $60. Been looking at all these items on CL and they were too far away and not the effort. Found them all at one stop!

    2- 6 Ton jacks (new)
    2- Steel ramps (slight used)
1- 16’ Heavy Duty Tow Strap and Shackle (used)
    12” Stanley wrench
    2 assorted blow tube guns
    1- bulb suction tube

Nice find! Do the ramps have a capacity limit marked on them? I would also check the tow strap for any signs of wear/cuts before using.

They are marked at 6 tons (each?). You can see sticker if you zoom in on pic. The strap is used but perfectly fine. Nylon braided with hairy frays and no cuts or major damage.

I was referring to the ramps and their capacity. I saw the 6-ton capacity label on the jack stands.

Those ramps look a little narrow for your 285’s. I could be wrong though.

That's why I asked about the capacity rating. Wouldn't want to see anyone hurt or truck damaged...

Please correct me if I'm wrong one this. My understanding is that a pair of 6 ton stand means 3 ton each.

They are a bit narrow, but the dry run was still successful on both vehicles. Prob won’t need the ramps for the Tundra. Mainly purchased them for the small car. Fabbed up some plywood entry shims to clear that pesky front low entry bumper problem on small vehicles.

Checked and it is 6 tons PER JACK. (6tons x2 jacks= 12 tons total). Those jacks are retailing new for $60 a pair.
