While gassing up this week I got a verbal warning from a local LEO in regards to not having mud flaps and/or fender flares installed.

    Vehicle
Code 27600 requires vehicles to either have fenders or mud flaps “at least as wide as the tire tread” to prevent mud or water spraying behind the car.

    So time to get compliant.

While I much prefer the cleaner look of not having them these at least mostly match the nerf bars and didn't cost a ridiculous amount of money. And hopefully no more LEO interactions.

I have a new FabFours bumper arriving this week so wanted to get rid of the chrome on the hood bulge and the surround. I wasn't totally thrilled with the end result as I used rattlecans. If I had it to do all over again I'd have just spent the time to shoot with a HVLP setup. Let's see how this holds up before I start all over again.

Since I already had the front end off I went ahead and also installed the AFE Power Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer. Was concerned that I would hear whistling but so far so good.

    IMG_20190730_172344.jpg

And finally I replaced the OEM buibs in the map lights/dome lights with LED buibs from LED Monster. No before picture but the after is pretty awesome.

Winch finally arrived and I was able to get it mounted into the Fab Fours Premium Front bumper and get the bumper mounted properly.

That thing looks mean! R you going to run without front flare or cut it to make it work with the bumper?

THe bumper fitment isn't perfect so cutting the front flare will hide some of that. That's my thought prior to cutting though :)

And this is why I went with the Fab Fours bumper with pre-runners (aka deer catchers).

That is pretty awesome! BTW, I miss my grab handle that was was in my 07. I couldn't locate a junker Tundra here in Denver so I'm going to just order a new grab handle kit.

Rachet or tow? 6 rachet straps would fit. Will post a pic later tonight of what's stored in there.
