It's just a harmless sticker for deterrence only, to make someone think twice, otherwise why have a hand gun mounted in your truck? If I'm in my truck I will take necessary measures according to law. If I'm not in my truck, maybe someone will think twice before stealing it. Common sense. Last time I checked, stickers don't kill people. Get real. I don't even have the sticker. What is the definition of "armed" carjacking? Somebody breaks my truck window and hits me in the face to steal my truck will wish they hadn't. Just sayin. Pretty sure a LEO would shoot in that instance (or maybe try to use a taser/pepper spray?? Come on........)

Of course. Too many people think that their vehicle is an extension of their home as far as the law goes. NOT!!!!. As far as harmless stickers go................. 1st Amendment.

They used to string people up for stealing a horse or rustling a steer. Some folks still think that way. "deterrence". Go down to the Denver Western Stock Show that's going on now and ask some of the heart lander ranchers down there what they think. Don't mess with their trucks either.

My Walther PPS. The soft holster allows me to carry either the PPS or my Ruger with an extra magazine for either. Just need to get a good flashlight and get it mounted too.

I took off a couple hours early from work today and went down to my local Sports Authority to pick up some Bronco Super Bowl swag. There was plenty of swag up front , so I did my usual walk back to the firearms area for a look see. I noticed some Rossi's on discount. Mind you , I own some expensive firearms, but I like my .22/.410 Rossi pair. I used to hunt grouse with my vintage 870 12 gauge Wingmaster. It's bad enough carrying it around thru steep ground here in the CO hi country and being somewhat over kill even with an open choke. Hence the .410 "youth " (sorry Hobbits) Rossi single shot version I bought a few years back. Much lighter. Grouse are the easiest wild fowl to bag, unless some of you consider "free range chickens" in that category. Turns out that the Rossi "youth" versions whether paired barrels or Trifecta versions are highly sought after by the "when SHTF" crowd. Anyways, I saw a hard to find Rossi Trifecta on sale for $199.97. $100 off normal price which makes sense. Cheapest price I could find was Budsgunshop.com for $260 with free shipping (and no Monte Carlo attachment and hammer extension) Trifecta's with hammer extention and Monte Carlo attachment retail for $329. The big three, Cabela's, Bass Pro, Gander sell them for $300 if they even have them. This particular Trifecta came with a .22LR, 20 gauge, and .243 WIN barrels. Said "I'll take it". I grabbed a box of Winchester 100 grain Deer/Antelope rounds. Had to wait for background check which took 2 hours. I went home and waited for the call to go back and pick everything up. I had a $14.32 loyalty reward and $100 bucks in my wallet. Told the cashier to put the balance on my card. I didn't check the receipt until I got home. Hell yea. $171 and change in total. That's including the box of .243 ammo and taxes. Not sure why, but I'm not complaining. I already know the .22LR is dead nuts from previous experience, the 20 gauge, well it's a shot gun barrel with mod choke, even though the .243 barrel is short , it will probably be dead nuts at 50 yds with the flat trajectory of the .243. I'd be happy to get a 4" group at 100 yds. Oh, I forgot the .243 barrel came with Weaver compatible scope mount. I can order an adult stock if I want but probably won't for now:

Heading up to Hi country tomorrow am to play. pics to follow.

    Forgot to buy Bronco swag.

Which one do you prefer, the 19 or 26? I don't have a CC so not too much concerned about concealment.

For reasons unknown to me I shoot better with the 26 so I usually carry it more often. I do love them both equally. :)
