@AxelsHumanDad im also apart of the HK crew and I absolutely love my .40 P2000sk... perfect size to carry and also packs a punch, love the no safety feature and the hammer release button.. Hk is by far my favorite handgun that I've shot! Kinda been looking at the VP9, looks pretty mean

Why wait? Join the Glock Sport Shooting Foundation for 2 years at $60.00 (I think) and you are eligible to buy one "blue label" gun a year for cheap...the 43 is $358.00. Plus you get a decent little swag pack with your membership card and purchase card.

I've always been partial to Ruger. Used to own a 41 mag Black Hawk when I was 13. Also had a .357 Black Hawk and a 44 mag scoped Silver Hawk 8". Would like to have the same Ruger 1911 you have.

I love my Springfield 1911 .45 and have done many modifications. Cannot wait to get it back from the gun smith to go shooting again!

This is the first Ruger I've bought. Got a Glock .40, but this gun may have made me a believer in .45

New friend. Nothing fancy. Left Hand Savage Axis 30-06 with 3X-9X Vortex Crossfire II w/ Dead Hold reticle BDC. All my bolts are RH, I'm a lefty. Saw this LH at Gander. Sighting in tomorrow. Not real big on posting/ posing pics of my various firearms with the Feds watching everything, but this 06 was $280 plus $150 for the Vortex. Can't ever have too many weapons. (The feds don't need to know how many. Ammo is a whole other story. heh heh)

    CAM00519.jpg
    images_4724b06568d6beee854e92a60251196ddcc1b2b5.jpg

Edit: If you look close you will see that the gunsmith messed up when mounting my scope. Not exactly rocket science. Look at the rear mount. AFU. heh heh I didn't notice it until this morning after I had driven up to my friends' property way up in the mountains. Wasn't a big deal since I had two back up rifles. Couldn't change power setting since the adjustment ring was pretty much locked up against mount base. The mount bases were reversed. Took it in to Gander again to have them "fix" their F up. The main gunsmith wasn't none too happy what the part time gunsmith did. He did the bore sight alignment himself and upgraded my Weaver scope rings to Burris at no charge. (Burris is made right here in Greely, CO. They make very pricey high end rifle scopes.)

My "carry around" choice is a Ruger LC9.

It's fairly small and conceals nicely.

I've got tickets to see Star Wars on Dec 19 at the Aurora Cinemark. It is still a "gun free zone". There is a security guard I think. (LC9 is a good choice by the way)

Suppressors/ silencers in CO are actually legal for hunting without a permit required, even though most CO hunters aren't aware. I verified this with a CO game warden. The NRA site breaks down state by state suppressor/silencer regs.

On the way:upload_2015-10-23_20-56-2.jpgRCBS Rock Chucker Supreme. Started reloading when I was 13. Initially for my 336C Marlin 30-30 lever. Still have my logs. I recorded everything (beginning at 13), bullet brand, type, how many grains, type of gun power (DuPont for example), again , how many grains, 100 yrd groups, you name it. This was in 1968. Back then factory ammo was good at best. You really needed to reload for the best ballistic results. Nowadays you can actually buy (at a premium) some very decent ammo that will give a tight group out of the box. Barnes for example, Hornady is another. I currently have dies for .38 Special, .357 Mag, .41 Mag, .44 Mag, .45 Mag., 22-250, .243, .270 Win Mag, .308, .30-.30, .30-06, which is my favorite all around N/A game killer with the proper load (which you can also neck down to .25 for .25-06), 45-70 (bear killer, previously buffalo back in day), 7X57 Mauser, .223/5.6 NATO, 7mm Rem, 7mm-08 Rem, and last but not least .444 Marlin. Sorry no 9mm (pea-shooter). The .45 die is new. Don't own a 1911. (yet) Next up:[IMG]

Is the stamp per suppressor? Does it cover sbr or do you need a separate one?
