They added another bonus on that last tank, as another person I signed up got gas.

So I get $19.47 back from 1 fill-up yesterday!!!

I'm happy.

Looks like my 7 cent bonus may have dropped off?

Closest participating station finally had unleaded and saved a bunch. Went from $3.59 a gallon to $2.81 a gallon. Without this app I probably wouldn’t be taking the truck camping as often!

 

How are y'all entering more than one code? It seems each one I enter replaces the previous.

 

It does replace it, but does not erase it from your account.

Once it's in your account, it is good until it expires.

For those that have the app on an iPhone, have you been able to turn off permissions? I’m all about saving money at the pump, but I don’t see any reason why the app would need access to your contacts and search history. The only reason for that is to sell data. Just my $.02.

 

I am going to try it since I am almost on empty.

 

Does it limit gallons filled or can I fill my 38 gallon tank?

Not that I’ve seen. Your pump might have a limit though. Ours cut off at $75

 

You can. It asks permissions in case you want to invite people or share codes with contacts...which I did this morning with my wife.

 

If I had a cut off.

I would pay inside, so I could get a completely full tank.

I think I've realized how they "make" money on this app. Basically all the stations near me are the kind that gives a .10c discount if using cash. So, they want you to pay with your card and you get .09c back... This gives the gas stations still a penny per gallon which adds up pretty quick at gas stations many of us otherwise wouldn't use.

 

I think the limit is 50 gallons so you're good to go

Some stations do have a cash back limit though, it will say that in the app on the offer details though.

no both of my transactions were processed and credited within a couple days tops.

The savings sure go down once those initial promo adds are expired! Still, saving something is better than nothing I suppose. Just need to be on the lookout for new codes I guess.

 

It was my own fault. When I put in the credit card number I had a typo, put 6 when it should have been 8. Fixed it, had $15 yesterday about an hour after I filled up.

Just did my first fill up last night. I still had 1/4 of a tank, so it only 26.26 gallons of fuel. Today I show a balance of $22.05 in the app. Saved $0.84 per gallon!
