We did not bbq. Bmf made a great breakfast, but food has been a delivered afterthought. But everything has been good.

Yea, everyone else had a much harder time drinking and operating than i did. Im bright eyed and bushy tailed, and they were suffering.

Fair. But nobody had time to treat the meat. We woke up and started at noon and finished at midnight every day. Then drank until daylight.

 

Pffft. Treating meat helps with hangovers.

Well… 70ish% of it. When I tore a battery terminal in half within the first 16 seconds of putting boots on the ground, I knew that Murphy was gonna be eating our lunch all weekend.

 

Ok, yeah, I'll do my own truck.

For real though, I'm stoked to see you guys get everything done you did. I think we could probably all use some concerted effort on projects like this. Hell if I wouldn't get a metric shit-ton more done if I could rope off an entire weekend with a couple extra pairs of competent hands ready. But the life I somehow worked myself into, a competent, in real life 'wrench-in-like' person this last decade or so is virtually non-existent. Lots of people around who like to have, but not a lot who are willing to do.

 

I couldn't imagine bbq'n during the heat of the battle. Breakfast before the work starts is one thing, but when we wrench on something it's usually just random snacks. Ain't nobody got time for a formal meal when making the truck our bitch. I will say it is partially my fault though, as I promised tube steak and duck sausage and didn't make it

 

Yea, all our ails have been officially blamed on txagg. He deserves the have his house tp’d.

Hell, we never stopped for lunch any of the days. Just stopped for a dinner break.

 

We never really got the chance. Once my PS started gushing, we decided to leave it where it was.

 

That's the miracle of bbq. You toss it on, it just hangs out all day, occasionally check heat, chips, and water, NBD.

 

Two words:

Pellet. Smoker.

I don't even know how to smoke. I can grill though. I know, I know.

 

Also, How many cartons of Marlboro were consumed?

Only real casualty of the weekend was one of Roombas paw pads. He’ll be on the mend in no time though.
