Screw those axles. I'm sure if I had this tool and a proper press I would've tried like you guys, but I don't regret having someone else do mine as long as they last for a few years.

We hit it pretty hard yesterday. Got a bit of a late start due to drinking WAY too much the night before. Ended up doing about 12 hours straight 1130 to 1130. I'm starting to question why I thought this was a good idea. Fortunately I got the TX boys here to rescue me. Our group leader, @MrDirtjumper has layed out a pretty good plan. Let's look at the progress so far:

This is what a destroyed cv axle looks like. BMF don't fuck around.

The other half of the destroyed axle.

The new tires got in today so me and five threw the old tires in his truck and went to get mine installed. 255x85xr16.

Ok, so to anyone whos gonna replace their rear springs: they are directional. We found this out the hard way.

    20220402_164929.jpg

I had the pleasure of removing the rack. Fuck this thing. It was absolutely covered in dirt and PS fluid. Then the pinch bolt on the steering shaft gave us shit. And you have to pull the sway bar which has the stupidest bolt design I've ever seen. Just a garbage ass design.

New extended travel cv axles from RA. @NickB_01TRD. The castle nuts on these aren't 35mm like stock, so we're reusing the old ones.

    1) you better get the cans and bottles out of Ironman bed before you attract the riffraff
    [IMG]

    2) I'm digging the turf in the tailgate. Now I'm picturing installing a driving range in the bed.

Some people measure progress by checking lists. In tx we measure progress by how full the bed is.

I hate 12 pts; they round off nuts too easily. I always buy 6 pt. instead.

Yeah I forgot about that part. I reused old as well since I didn't have a bigger socket. Axles look the exact same as mine just a different brand now.

That's a hell of a lot of progress. Great work!
