Rusty Balls

    Over the years as I’ve traded vehicles in, one thing I have not traded is my trailer hitch balls. I’ve held onto my balls and never let them go. As far as I was concerned they were my balls and I was not giving them up. Over the years the chrome has rubbed off and left me with rusty balls. My balls still worked fine, but were not as nice to look at. My wife would sometimes complain that my rusty balls would rub up against my pants and leave a stain. I tried greasing my balls, and that made coupling easier, but then grease would get everywhere. I tried ball covers, but they were hard to get off due to the suction on my balls. Finally, I upgraded to stainless steel hitch balls. Now my balls are rust free. I love my new balls and my wife does too!

    If you keep your balls stored away, always keep them in the original pouch they came in. You would assume they are interchangeable, but they are NOT! I repeat... DO NOT SWAP BALLS IN THEIR POUCHES!!!
