Just got my new Tundra. Being in one of the worst states for putting way to much and way to early salt and pre-salting treatment on their roads, has anyone on here had their Tundra rust proofed or undercoated? How much did it cost and would you recommend it?

I can recommend Fluid Film. It's a DIY product that helps with the Salt Brine problem, used it when I lived in Montana. Farmers use it in the Ag business all the time.

We use this product at work....
    http://www.nyalic.com/

All of our equipment is on the beach and in the salt-water 7 days a week. We have the vehicles coated head to toe at a body shop. This is mainly on UTV's and tractors. But they undercoat trucks with it too. The results are pretty impressive. It is flexible and really durable.

Now me personally, we don't have salt on our roads, and I don't drive my truck on the beach. I use Fluid Film on my truck, lawnmower, and boat. The stuff lasts a long time. I use it on everything, wiring harnesses, battery, suspension components, frame, axles, you name it. I'll go crazy with about 2 cans under the truck once a year. I spray the hidden areas as well with the straw, inside bottom edge of doors through the drain holes, fender seams, fender bases, cab drains and seams. I did this yearly on my '99 4runner as well, never a spot of rust on any surface.
