I have a 2019 that the lease ends in February. I'm going to be keeping the truck and will need runningboards.

Looking for some options that are good but won't break the bank.

Any ideas are appreciated thank you

Can't speak to longevity yet but I really like the RB20s so far. They are wide and offer great grip with the bedliner spray. They may even offer a bit of rock and door ding protection.20210904_135720.jpg 20210831_150141.jpg 20210831_150129.jpg

    Do you mean these?
I've had them about 2.5 years and they seem to be holding up nicely. I'm not in an area that uses much in the way of salt in the winter (occasional brine, but we don't get much snow/ice), so I can't comment on their propensity to rust. I could do without the logo in the middle, though.

Love my RB20 plus they stick out enough to keep from getting door dings, unless the other vehicles door is taller than the step.

Eliminating the GoRhino plate is a BIG improvement. I need to do that.

I just painted over mine with Line-X, super easy. Just make sure you take the thin plastic cover off the label, otherwise your spray will peel off the 1st time you power wash.

Good call. I was hoping someone addressed this lol. That tag has been the only thing stopping me from purchasing them.

I didn't want to drill the rivet out and have those holes, and figured I could do that if I didn't like the painted look.

I just sprayed it on a paper plate and used one of the tiny brushes my wife had laying around to brush it on, it looked great. The newer your steps are, the better, that way it doesn't look mismatched. Also, spring for the $15 can of spray, I forget what I got, but I read that the better stuff is the only stuff that stands up.

Just remember to treat the area first, remove all plastic. I'm an idiot, and I didn't, so I get re-work.

I wanted to stay with the GORhinos but after 3 bad steps and dealing with shipping them back. I decided on the Tyger steps. Also I did not like how close they were to the body of the truck to clean that area. Real pain in the ass. The finish is definitely better in my Tyger steps especially I was able to compare. I had the Tyger bars on my 4runner for years and never any chips or rust with them.

Plus one for the GoRhino RB20's. I've had them for going on four years now. They have held up great, I had them sprayed with Line-X. It provides a pretty stable platform to get in and out of the truck. I installed mine in reverse, I wanted the wider part to be in the rear, similar to a rock slider kick out. There were no issues with installation.

Not their running boards but I do have the push bar. It seems sturdy but it was dented in a couple inconspicuous places. I have the OeDro 6" boards from Amazon and I love them.

Got a side shot of those? How low do they hang down? I had a set of them on my Ram 2500. Loved them but that truck had a 2” front lift and 35s.
