Just put a set on a couple weeks back. I like how close they sit to the body...almost like a slider. I hadn't seen anyone with them either so I gambled and bought a set and happy with them so far. PITA to mount by yourself kinda but nothing a jack and some patience didn't fix.

I got 3” nerf bars and put them on I’m less than an hour. But now I want 5” ones as the 3”’s are to small.

Milk crates are free. Plus when not in use, you can store some gear in it. I like the no running boards look. Get you a milk crate brother.

Finally removed the hoop steps and installed the AMP Research powersteps. Loved the look of the Havoc HS2 steps, but really like the clean look of the hidden steps and the truck doesn't look so low to the ground. I think the hoop steps look good, but better on the lifted trucks.

Any issue with road snow/slush buildup with these? My Westins are always CAKED with slush and it's extremely aggrivating to say the least. Might eventually go with AmpResarch but don't want to fork over the $1k price tag.

Theres some, it's not bad though. Nothing like my OEM bars. I was out all day in snow, mud and dirt. Again, not too bad.

I have the OEM black cast aluminum boards on my 19' and really like them. Dealer split the cost in half with me as part of the negotiation.

the isue i have with these is that it has 3 mounting points where the oem have 4. so how can that work with the oem bolt on locations? it reads in the install instructons that these will fit the truck. more importantly only 3 mounting brackets?

Check out the Tyger steps. One model looks like sliders and the other are square tube. Both on affordable side.

I'll be going with the AMP boards as well as soon as I get the lift installed. That will take a while since I keep spending money on work related items like ladder racks and Deck System. Towing mirrors are next.
