it had held up very nicely during our ND winters for the last 4 yrs. they protect the lower rocker panel nicely from slush, snow and rocks. no fading in color that i noticed. only problem is the cost if not ordered with the truck. remember i have mud guards in front of the leading edge of the running board to help.

if you want i can take a pic after work (5pm cst) and post them up.

might be a little hard to see since it gets dark around 5pm cst.

I have the same one’s as OP. Mine is still very new, so no opinion on durability. Only issue I see with these are fading from the sunlight and elements. Cerakote has given me good results in the past and still use it in my older vehicles. Clean & simple is how I like it.

I’m glad they’ve held up. You’re right about the price, can’t justify that cost for plastic boards. I can get sliders for that price but don’t want the weight of sliders.

Looking for lightweight true cab length boards that don’t sacrifice ground clearance like my predator steps. I’m going to try the molded Westin 93” boards that look darn close to yours. The construction is also similar, an extruded aluminum board covered with a molded plastic step pad on top of rocker panel brackets for $463 shipped.

My thought exactly. At 93 inches they “should” fit nicely between the slight flares in the truck side and hopefully sit high enough to cover most of the pinch weld. I’ll share pics when they get here. I noticed a hardware difference in how the step pad attaches to the aluminum step board. The oem boards use robust push clips (according to the drawing) these look like they use molded tabs to clip on so time will tell how durable they are. I believe there is lifetime warranty (probably excludes off-road use, or as some do, void when the vehicle is in motion lmfao). Not many pictures out there other than the stock pics from Westin.

These were a no-go. The first set of mounting brackets were never delivered due to damage in transit, the second set arrived damaged so I’m returning everything. The boards look nice but the plastic does not have the same quality look and feel as Toyota OEM plastic trim pieces, I bit the bullet and ordered up the KG option running boards from Sparks Parts during their Black Friday special. Even with free shipping that price tag is still a kick in the nuts! Now waiting and hoping these don’t arrive trashed by Fedex like everything else I order.
