No they are finishing up their F150 run. They will get back to Tundra starting in OCT.

We have used the Bush company load bars for lowest possible mounting.

They require these to install, we stock them as well

Any suggestions on how to seal the roof “vent” which leaks profusely now even in the slightest of precipitation.

I just ordered my Smartcap EVO Sport 6.5’ for ‘22 Tundra from Offroad Alliance. I put in requests for the new cold resistant latches and ability to open the doors from the inside. Other than the prototype image seen in this thread there are none yet in the wild in my understanding, production slated to commence in October and my delivery ETA late November. I will document the entire build and installation process in detail. I took some pics of a smartcap on a Jeep that I saw in Alaska earlier this summer and was so impressed once again with the look and quality of the cap. Will post those as well.

So looks like they are really starting production in October. I will be ordering mine soon. I am wondering whether you are going in for camera relocation kit?

Great to hear you’re also ordering one @ovwrl4nd, will be fantastic to compare install process and brainstorm re accessories.

I read about the camera relocation kit and watched the video, TBH I found it a bit intimidating but should probably think about it again.

Does the kit only relocate the camera that looks onto the rear bed? I don’t really ever use that camera (so far) with just the tonneau cover…I may want to use it a lot more with the RSI however.

Do you know if the backup and bird’s eye view camera will still work fine? Those are the most impt for me by a long shot. Re accessories did you go for any bins or half bins; are you going for the sport or adventure or commercial?

I considered the table and some roof racks but haven’t added any add-ons to the order yet. I’m a bit worried about fitting into my garage with the smartcap on, and may wait until after installation before deciding on any roof load bars or racks.

Looking fwd to learning more re: your plan for your build!

It relocates the rear view mirror camera too. TRD Pro and some trims on Limited, as well as higher variants have the electronic RVM. If it was just the bed cam I would not bother. But to have the RVM functionality, I guess relocation is needed.

Thanks for your reply, I also have the electronic RVM. I don’t use it a whole lot TBH but it is a very nice (and expensive) feature. Especially when driving with the cap, it will be very hard to see behind the truck using just the standard mirror. It sounds like this will be an essential upgrade.
