Actually going to 33x12.50 Kenda Klever R/Ts. A little wider but a little shorter.

 

Nice! I'm planning to get 295/70/17 tires with a similar lift height as your Tundra.

 

Sounds like a solid plan. It’s a good size, you will like it. They don’t rob as much power and fuel economy as 35s but have 80% of the looks.

Well one of my wheels arrived yesterday, the other three should come today. Still waiting on confirmation for the lugs and protection rings

Bronze and white are such a sweet combo. I really do think all the color choices look really good. It’s really just a matter of pairing the right color with the truck color.

 

about to pull the trigger on the Falken wild peak 35x12.5 but i'm not sure I can fit them with the 5100's on top setting and a BMC and CB bumper spacers?? I know 35's are heavy as shit which I dont really care about but I want to make sure I wont end up needing UCA's

 

I've been wanting bronze wheels for a long time. Timing never worked out when I had my Tacoma. I was wanting SCS Ray 10s in bronze but it was never in stock. I ended up with the gunmetal Ray 10s.

 

Glad you finally got them. I always liked bronze as well. Ray 10s are also sweet, but I do think I'm a little partial to more spokey designs. Grey looks good on white too. This was my previous white truck with my grey methods on 35s.

 

Have any of you receive your protection rings? I checked all my boxes and I don't see them shipped with my wheels.

Edit: I double check the shipping ...looks like it hasn't shipped yet.

I received shipping/tracking for my rings and lugs. I don’t think they’ve actually been picked up from the vendor yet though according to tracking.

 

Wheels came in while we were on vacation (OF COURSE). Had the brother in law stick em inside the house for me. Now that I’m back, just dropped the truck at the dealership….

patiently awaiting the wheels and tires to be put on tomorrow

 

All four arrived today, open ended lugs were inside the box, dropped them into the rim to see how they will look. Also ordered the 35x12.5 falken wild peaks and I’m going to pray the 5100’s, CB bumper shim, mud flap delete and some wheel well liner massaging is enough. Anticipating the CMC/BMC already.

how much are the wildpeaks right now ? still debating which tires to get. Been very happy with my KO2s.

 

my “employee” price is 327 each for the 35x12.5 that I ordered. Not much profit margin on tires.

Wildpeaks are crazy expensive in my area. Cheapest is $400 per tire on 295s.

Yeah tell me about it... I planning to go with Cooper AT3 XLT. I heard decent things about those tires.

Truck is filthy but the wheels are clean. You get the idea. Starting to question if the protection rings and bolts will help or hurt the look. I’m very pleased with how they look mounted up. I was worried the 33s would look too small with the lift but I’m happy with it. The chunky width evens things out. I wouldn’t go any smaller though. I mainly wanted to keep 33s to keep my torque with the SC, didn’t want to regear just yet. First impressions of the Kenda tires are pretty good also!
