I didn't dig much deeper than that. Didn't want my wife seeing over my shoulder and.clicking on that screen name. :eek2:

As for the guy claiming it is normal to sell on various forums and sites, absolutely. But I'm not buying it based in how the listings are set up and worded, aside from being unprofessional for a business to try and come across like an individual.

I won't be buying anything from RRW, regardless of how much a few people like them. Too many red flags for me. I've been on forums before and this company checks all the boxes for a vendor to be avoided.

Yeah, I’ve seen enough issues with their sliders reported on here that I’ll also just avoid their company. Kinda sucks to say that, but when you run a business it’s important to show yourself in a good light in the public eye. There are more than a handful of vendors on here that have shot themselves in the foot...

Hmm... That does suck. I wonder if the rivets are in a slightly different place than on other models?

Hit up their Facebook page and post images. It sucks, but nowadays that seems to be like the best way to get ahold of most companies. Delta left your baggage in Detroit for 6 days while you stank up Sweden? Post on their FB and watch the 100k miles come rolling in..

I had zero fitment issues when I installed mine. I imagine the sliders are all the same but there are small variances in different model years that hasn't been taken into consideration.

From what I can tell from following the RRW threads on here and Tacomaworld, it’s more likely that their fabricators and/or quality control are just garbage.

When I sent them my photos last year with this same issue they said the designer screwed it up on my set. Looks like it's screwed up on others as well. They also blamed it on mine being a 2020.

This sucks. But you know that already. No word yesterday or so far today from Michael (the guy I have been emailing about my sliders).
@The Patriot 1776 yours looks JUST like mine and its a 2015. If enough of these sliders got sold it could spell the end for RRW.

I haven't heard back yet either. I'll give them until the end of today then I'll start blasting their ass all over the internet. When you screw up, you take your lumps & make it right. You don't ignore the problem & hope it goes away. That's how you get your ass ran out of town!

Hell, IDK. They're return policy of only 10 days is BS in itself. Then they have a 25% restocking fee which they'll probably try to tack on even if they aren't made correctly. I research the shit out of stuff before I buy it & didn't find any bad reviews of their sliders so hopefully this thread helps others from being screwed.

The 4 runner guys recommended them as a seller. I heard about long shipping times and I was ok with that. But now its just getting out of hand. The problem you guys are having with fitment and getting ahold of them is not right. Looking up paypals policy now I would just dispute it with them if there's issues. If I get mine and theirs a problem with them I'm not paying for shipping them back or a 25% restock. I have free time, I will make sure no one ever orders from them again.

Well I'm sorry in a way, but I had to cancel my order with RRW for the V4 Tundra Bolt on Sliders. Too much drama going on for me. For those of you that have received your sliders and are having issues, I hope you can get them worked out with minimal efforts.
For those that still have an existing order, I wish the product comes to you better that expected and without fitment issues based on what we've been hearing so far on this thread.
RRW, I hope these issues we are hearing about is the exception to your norm. Best of luck to you.

I installed mine last night in about an hour. The only thing I had to do was grind a notch in one tab to clear the frame rivet. I had to do this on both sides. Overall very happy. I plan to add two bolts in each side in the bottom tabs.

I tried to post a video but no luck. I had the same problem with the river, I installed anyways as I don’t have the tool at home to grind the tab down, it’s a easy install so I can always pull off when I need to D02FA10C-16F4-4B15-95EC-D0ADA003AB57.jpg87AA2009-432A-4295-B81A-ED919B8DCEE7.jpg 03529C34-8F6E-4BCF-A22E-B7E53ED63AA1.jpgACF87225-F870-4446-9147-EA96386FE94C.jpg E4C0FBFC-70DA-4315-802C-B0858304E76E.jpg

How many bolts were y'all able to put on? Looks like 2 from your pictures.

I'll weight in here as I bought a set and absolutely love their styling and build quality. One thing that seems strange is I didn't have enough hardware for all the holes and we'll need to reinforce some moving forward. I have five bolts installed per side with washers but I don't have the fins on the bottom installed properly yet because I ran out of hardware. they're super stable now but would not be able to support the weight of the truck I feel.

contacted RRW and they were confident that they supplied enough hardware but I will definitely be adding to whatever they supplied to get it installed the way I want to.

I have the inserts for the support fins but didn't have enough bolts and washers to install so we'll have to redress this when it warms up a bit.

Had no trouble getting mine and I have had some success with Michael at RRW who has responded to my emails. I invited him to this thead to try and help our causes. I'm a big fan of these V3 Sliders!

The driver side for me was much worse, bolts didn’t line up, gas tank skid didn’t line up, I tried to drill out the holes a bit but it’ll take more than a few drill bits to make this work 2332CB84-91EC-4ABD-900C-8BD6A794D7BD.jpg8B001AA0-D2C7-4A45-BD18-E1A332098A07.jpg 7120C63D-4DED-4D36-A0FF-E78C1784DF5E.jpg

We had to drop the fuel tank skid and my holes lined up better, just felt there was a lack of hardware...seems like there are some variances in the mounting plates maybe...
