I am in Dallas and head down to Padre Island National Seashore (Corpus area) quite a bit. It is a haul but well worth it. Cops are right beach is considered highway in TX and same rules apply but at PINS they leave you alone as long as you aren't driving like an A$$hole or drunk. There are not towns or houses anywhere near there so it is a little different than Seaside. I have never had a problem running auxiliary lights and in the middle of the night you see several vehicles heading down the beach all lit up.

I got my light last week. I cut the bottom out and got the mounts put on. My question is, do I use the 2 spacers that are in the bag with the Allen screws? The reason I ask, is I used one on the driver's side, the mount was really close to the light on the passenger side, do I spread the mount away from the light and put the spacer in? And I'm assuming, all that extra hardware is not used?

It’s pretty easy and very basic. Already has an in-line switch relay. The only minor challenge is running it through the rubber gasket located on your firewall, the switch. I used a coat hanger, wrapped the wire with electrical tape and it slipped right through the rubber gasket with a little silicone sprayed on the wire before pulling it through to the interior of the truck. Then hook up your neg black ground wire to your battery and then your red pos, in this order.

    You can do it.

This is still on my things to do list. I already have a switch to use in my dash, is it pretty easy to wire to that one?

Got mine installed today! Put it behind the bumper with brackets from Rago fab. Couldn’t bring myself to take a saw to the bumper. Pics aren’t the best but here’s what I could get after the install ECBC0C8A-823D-4736-A7E8-6191281780EA.jpgAD87425F-D632-4F66-B69A-FE2D273124DB.jpg38FE1B65-54ED-4731-A1B6-6EEE871BBF42.jpgF703103D-7254-437D-AE9B-A7852BBC7D66.jpg

@RW-3 or @easleycrawler How much do you want for your RC light bar protective lens cover since you won’t be using it? I put the cover back on mine up when not in use to keep it clean. Send me a PM me if your interested in getting rid of it.

Well, I've had mine installed for about a month now and it's got a good bit of moisture in it. Guess I'll be contacting rough country tomorrow.

I just dug through my deleted emails and found the order confirmation email. I replied back to it, describing my issue and asking what I need to do, to get a replacement. I'll keep this thread updated.

Does it work? Have your turned it on to see if the moisture will clear or disapate? Just curious. None the less, I would call and request they send you a replacement. I can’t see how they won’t. Good luck, keep us posted.

Yeah it works. I haven't left it on long enough to see if it would dry out though.

I got a response. They said there is a breather screw on the side. They said to take the screw out, run the light for a little bit and leave the screw out for a day or two and it should dry out. We'll see.
